The Conversations

Conversation One

The Past

To understand your partner, first you have to understand yourself.

You’ll do a deep dive into the lessons you’ve picked up about money over your lifetime, then you and your partner will share with one another. Fair warning: this exercise is chock full of “aha!” moments.

Conversation Two

The Present

All financial decisions are driven by your values. Most of the time they’re unconscious—but in Conversation Two, you’ll give them the attention they deserve.

You’ll look at your spending patterns to uncover what’s most important to you (no judgement here, we promise!), and your partner will do the same. Then you’ll craft a list of your values as a team.

Conversation Three

The Future

Maybe you’ve tried to set financial goals before. It’s tough, right?

But once you understand your personal and joint money values, creating a shared vision of your future together will be easier than ever before.
