We’re Gabriela and Annie, two people passionate about talking about money (we’re fun at parties, we promise). Annie is a licensed clinical social worker and therapist with a degree in economics. Gabriela holds an MBA with a focus on finance and communication. And we’ve been together for the better half of a decade, first as partners, then as wives.

We came from very different backgrounds, and families that had very different ideas about wealth and resources. In turn, those backgrounds gave us very different relationships to money that we had to navigate as we began building a life together. The content of this workbook is based on our professional expertise and existing research in the field. But it also pulls on the conversations and strategies that worked for us as we built our own financial partnership.
